Angela Gomez, MD

Dr. Angela Gomez grew up in a medical family, her father was a pediatrician and her mother was a school nurse. Dr. Gomez always knew that she wanted to become a physician. It was during her Pediatric Residency that she spent a lot of time in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and discovered her passion for caring for the fragile newborn infant. It is a challenging, yet rewarding profession, to help a critically ill newborn become healthy so they can go home to join their family. Dr. Gomez is one of the Neonatologist that works in our developmental follow up clinic at Hinsdale Hospital. She enjoys following the developmental milestones these infants are achieving and helping them obtain their maximum developmental potential. Dr. Gomez lives in the local area with her husband and two children.
